Paris Air Show 2027 at Le Bourget: getting there by private chauffeur

Jets flying in formation at an air show

The Paris Air Show is held at Paris Le Bourget every two years, traditionally in June. For a few days the airfield north-east of Paris fills with aircraft, exhibitors, delegations and visitors, and for many people the hardest part of the day is not the show itself but getting there and back. This guide explains how a private chauffeur can take that stress out of the day.

Check the official dates first

We do not publish dates here because organisers can adjust them. Before you plan anything, look at the official Paris Air Show website for the dates, the opening hours and the difference between the days reserved for trade visitors and the days open to the public. Your ticket type decides which day you can go.

Why the journey needs planning

Large events concentrate thousands of people in one place at the same time. Roads around the site are busy, access is organised by the event, and the arrival points can change from one edition to the next. If you rely on a taxi or a ride-hailing app, you may not know where you will be dropped or how you will find a car for the return.

What a chauffeur changes

  • One fixed price. You see the price before you book, not when the traffic is at its worst. Look at the Rates page for the current rate card.
  • A plan for the return. We agree the pick-up time and place with you in advance, so you are not searching for a car at the end of a long day.
  • Door to door. Your chauffeur collects you from your hotel, your apartment, CDG or Orly and drives you to the drop-off point that the organisers allow on the day.
  • Room for the group. A Mercedes V-Class suits a delegation or a family; an E-Class is ideal for one or two people.
  • A quiet place to work. Many visitors prepare meetings on the way. In a private car you can take a call or go through your notes.

Planning tips

  • Book early. Hotels and transport fill up around big events, and we would rather confirm your car well in advance.
  • Tell us your arrival details, including your flight number if you land at CDG or Orly, so we can follow your flight.
  • Allow generous time. Even with a chauffeur, the approach to a major event can be slow, so we suggest leaving earlier than you think you need to.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and keep your badge or ticket somewhere easy to reach.
  • If you are travelling as a company, tell us how many people and how much luggage, so we can send the right car.

Combine the show with the rest of your trip

Many guests combine the show with business meetings in Paris, dinners, or a day out afterwards. We can plan the whole programme with you: airport arrival, the show, evening transfers and your departure. For a longer day with several stops, ask us about an hourly booking.
